Shalimar, the deal
with hunter is pretty simple. They can quest really
efficiently, due to being able to kill stuff their
own level, consistently with little or no problems,
and down time. So if you know how to grab the quests
in one area, on your way to the next, while doing
whichever ones are on the way, minimizing travel
distance/time, you can really speed up levelling. I
know the tricks to do this in some areas, joana
simply studied the patterns and memorized how to do
this the whole way from 1-60.
The real reason hunters shine is two-fold,
killing speed, and travel speed. Plus very little
downtime. Add to that, the troll berserking bonus
for a little bit more dps, and the regen for even
less downtime, and you got a really good combo.
Especially when you add in something i heard about
someone who watched joana for a bit. He apparently
tosses down an immolation trap, then pulls with
serpent sting, and then sicks the pet on a different
mob, and shoots it, while the dots eat the first
one, then finishes off that first one after the 2nd
is dead. Didnt actually see this myself, but makes
good sense to me, for killing a little faster then 1
mob at a time.
